i made a adapter plate to fit e36 m3 rear breaks on e30 m3 trailing arms so thats an easy option for the rear, and you can get 15" wheels over them

my manifold was hitting the steering linkage so i had to solidly mount the engine in place to stop it doing it, its a stripped out 5 studded track car so i didnt mind doing it

yeh thats the idea, i allready have a nice lairy cam for it (295 digree) and some open throrttles should make it go alot better

no :) i use an e36 m3 one as it was Ԛ£10 and my 325 one was nackered but it isnt a direct fit

i have a "14 spal bolted to the front of my rad pushing air into the engine bay and on an e28 rad it just keeps it cool enough

deffo looks like a home made affair, looks to have a flexi downpipe so it wouldnt be too hard to make it fit, my m30 3.5 has flwxi pipes from the manifolds as it hit the steering linkage

no front indicators

mot coming up and the front indicators stopped working, the back and side ones work fine but there is no power getting to the front ones any ideas ? it does the same on the hazards and the indicator stalk on the column so its a commmon problem between the 2

i have a 3.6 diff and an m3 dogleg so mine is even worse, i really need a 2.93 or something as it does about 130 flat out in 5th

its the front cover bolts, mine leakes from their, stick some gasket sealent on all the bolts includind the front pully sensot bolts

hmm i am curious what mine would do now, bout 1100kg with m3 dogleg and 3.6 diff, its currently 225 hp, it gets to 60 very quickly aswell, hopefully got cam and a manifold to come soone aswell

i can imagine a btb manifold will be quite pricy, dont spose they will have ever done one before, its next on my lost of bits to buy

mine is in position 3 and abit :) slotted the holes abit more and theres about 5mm clearence on the cylinder head, i think the box is longer aswell, as the m3 prop didnt even fit when i tried,

i do indeed, got this setup in my 335 i used, e30 m3 box and bell housing e30 m3 prop and had to take 3 inches out of the front section e28 m535 flywheel and clutch custom gear linkage and a 3.25 or taller diff is reccomended or you will be forever changing gear i have a 3.91 diff in it at the momen...

choosing spring rates

converted my e30 335 to run 5 stud hubs all round, i have some bilstein front struts but no springs and wondered what was best for a track based car as i have no idea on the spring rates for an e30, i also need coilover springs on the back aswell and was unsure of the spring rates for these.

i am running a 9.5*16 et 13 on the back and 9 et12 on the front and it just goes with plenty of front camber, i have adjustable trailing arms on the back so can pull the rear wheels in

i got a e36 rack in mine withy a m30 in there aswel, i used half the e30 coupling and half the e36 one and made a spacer inbetween to join them up but it hits the manifold, i think that may be nakered engine mounts tho

mine completely died and snapped in half, thought the engine had died when all the steam came from under the bonnet, wasnt that hard to do but i had to take the rad out to do it
