Re: 325i vs 320i

I agree with the 325i owners.

The 320i engine just doesnt cut it in terms of performance. Has nothing below 4000rpm.

After driving a 2.5 you'd never go for a 2.0

As for the best sounding M20, its hands down the 323i

Re: Project E30 Todays work

Yeah used to see it around the north shore, around St.Ives area

Don't put chrome wheels on it!!

As bad as chrome wheels are, they look worse on an E30!

Just keep it clean and drive it i reckon

Re: Project E30 Todays work

I used to see this car all the time when i was living in Sydney. I knew it was US import because of the bumpers. Couldnt beleive that someone actually imported an E30 325e and converted it to RHD?!?! I'd leave it as it is. As strange as they look, they certainly are different, especially in our part...

Re: Final picks of my E30 325i Cab

Its not a Genuine JPS, however I thought at the time those emblems looked the part with the Gold BBS RS's. I know the guy who owns the Original JPS E30 M3 racecar here in Australia and they came off that car

Im letting it go for $10,000 AUD (about 4,900 Pounds!)

Re: M3 Conversion to Right - hand drive?

What a load of bollox :D

Here in Australia, all the E30 M3's that are coming into the country (especially fom Japan, lots with only 80,000kms on them) have to be converted to RHD

Fit an E36 M3 steering rack and you maintain the steering responce.

Hi fellow zoners, been in the dark for about the last 6 months and finally decided to hook up the internet. Here's a few quick pics of my car, hasn't changed a whole lot in that time, mainly just a few interior bits here and there. The BBS RS's r just about to be converted to 16in and im tempted to ...

I guarantee that inlet manifold is a 325i. A 320i has small 'kinks' in those 6 silver runners while the 325i has them all smooth like the ones in the picture

heya, I can see a pic of the E36 M3 X brace. Is that the original BMW part? Does it really bolt straight onto an E30? I have an E30 convert as well and was wondering if this would fit!!

I know you have to install some nutserts but is that all you had to do???

My bet is that it was a 320i.

It couldn't have been a 318i because it has the check control.

Check the compliance plate or run the VIN through the decoder on the internet.

Looks very clean though, definetly been looked after.

New Interior in my Cab, 95% complete

I just had my seats redone in Leather with suede inserts. Also changed my interior colour to Black from Beige, new grey carpet too. You do know that a brand new 2.5 M20 engine produces 171bhp right?

your power figures seem right to me.

To get more power, you can either turbo/supercharge your engine or increase its displacement to 2.7 litres.

Its all limited by the size of your wallet
