try & grind all the rust out if you can but take out the minimum of good metal, treat it with some rust eater like jenolite ,then degrese it with thinners then apply some zinc primer in a spray then you can paint it ,when the paint is hard you can flat it back with some 2000 grit paper then some cut...

fixed it now ,corroded track & contact also too much grease , working fine now ,only took an hour

LHD is cool i'd have another Lhd car 2moro its all part of the m3 charm you get used to it in a few days ,the worst bit was the dogleg box , as for alloy arms only the sport evo had them as std

i went to japan 2 years ago & was amazed by some of the rubbish they were driving , didnt see many bm's though
