The Wiki is bigger than one man, but we all speak with the same voice. As the Wiki grows, it's important for each page to read in the same way, not just in the formatting but the quality of the language as well. So for consistency's sake, the Style Guide outlines some of the common terms to use, as well as common mistakes to watch out for.


There/Their/They're

There

Used to show that something is not here.

I think something fell off your rusty old turd back there

Their

It belongs to them.

Tourings are less prone to rust than other E30s, although their tailgates rot out quicker than a Citroen's

They're

A short form of They Are.
