The heater fan(blower) on my 325 has an intermittent squeeking noise.
I have noticed the following:-
The fan is working on all speeds.
It mainly squeeks on position 1 but occasionly on other positions.
It seems to do it more on really cold days.
Gets worse or starts when accelerating away on bends.
It can always be stopped by changing fan speed (or swiching fan off completely).

I have had the front off the dash previously to fix a problem with heater slides.
Any ideas? It drove my mad on long journey the other day!

Sounds like dodgy motor bearings to me.

Doesn't need changing - needs taking out and oiling. Use a very thin oil and work it well into the bearings. Power the motor up with a battery or battery charger, and hold it vertically, both ways up, adding oil several times.
