I've been deliberating whether or not to lightly tint them or do them red. I did have a brief liking of the Euro lights, but am now uncertain.
Your opinions please.

Agreed ^^
Tinted looks cheap 90% percent of the time unless it is a very well themed car. Euro lights in my opinion are like driving a citroen saxa with lexus style lights. They look wrong.
Red tints however I do quite like in most applications.
Not meaning to disrespect anyone who has any of the above, just my opinion..
But when you come from the land of the brummies you learn the true meaning of taste

Yeah totally, at the end of the day its what you youself likes best on your car, everyones cars are themed in different ways as everyone has thier own perspective of what they think looks cool.

I just tinted my rear indicators with red tint, looks much better though they don't glow orange anymore and the orange bulb just makes them redder! Don't know if the plod will notice.

No. All I did was clean the outside of the lens with white spirit. Then do it again with meths. Masked the bits I didn't want to tint, then sprayed the outside.RRRR wrote:Thks MateStuBeeDoo wrote:Here's what I did - may or may not help you decide. 11th post on this thread.....

24 hours(ish) after spraying, I rubbed them over with very fine (1600??) wet & dry and finished with a single fine coat of clear lacquer.

DIY all red (as stubeedoo) cleaned the lens, sprayed it with red window tint, sprayed it with clear lacqure, left it to harden, polished with polish compound and a cloth)..... but we dont have the yellow indicator problem over here (the police worry about bigger problems such as people driving fast/drunk/on the phone (guilty!) etc) to get an orange indicator then do not paint the whole lens red, paint it striped red (look at the reverse light of and E34 as an example).... green bulbs do not work. (despite what maxfield may claim
)
and my two cents (pence) worth... tint only look good on a black/white car... euros look good in a skip
