Engine and chassis no

hello i am new to e30's and need to know where on the engine to look for the engine number? and also where to find the chassis no? its a 1990 325i sport m20 engine, any help appreciated thanks

chassis number is on the scuttle panel,open the bonnet and look between the wiper arms in the channel where the bonnet seal is.

engine number is on the pass side down by the engine mount arm bottom of block where the sump joins.

haha yea yea pics soon she's currently getting gutted to be sprayed, lots of work to be done, i need those numbers to pay the vrt on it as its an english car and its now over here in ireland
