hello all.
i joined this site when i bought my lovely 318 is a couple of years ago, with big plans to have her as my pride and joy. un fortunatly though i do not use the car, having only been used by me for 6 months, the rest of the time its mostly been sat on my driveway. i have a bad back and the seats make it hurt after driving it. 106k on the clock but it is very, very tidy and original. iirc, last time i looked in the service book i think its covered less then 15k in the last 10 years.
having read the rules on the for sale section i am asking if you can give me an idea of its value prior to placing a post there. i want to be realistic with an asking price and obviously would preferr it was loved by its new owner hence its not on e bay right now.
if this is ok, then i will put up some more details, pics etc. if not, please advise me on where to put this post.
thanks for your help.
Richard
please value my car before i advertise it on here

Do you have standard (comfort) seats or Sport seats ? The comfort seats are well known for not being comfortable !
You can tell the difference easily - sport seats have an extending section at the front which is controlled by a black knob on the right hand side.
I've had problems with my back and the sport seats cause me no problem.

thanks guys for your replys. yes i know its a shame my first post on here is to sell the car.
believe me it is a very hard thing to do, i love this car!! i have known it for over 10 years as the lady before used to bring it to the garage i did my apprenticeship in. as soon as i saw it at 16 i loved it, finally now i own it but its just sat about, it is so sad. if i had somewhere dry and secure i would keep it without a doubt. but i dont
so basic spec is - sports seats- un marked, limited slip diff, 14 inch wheels with 4 new tyres (only budgets though) new std exhaust (cat back), prob about 11months mot, no tax, i did oil, air & plugs when i got it 2 ish years / 200 odd miles ago. completely standard and original.
please bear in mind i've not spent all day polishing the car before taking the photos. literally move it, take photos, move it back.
let me know what you think

Worth somewhere around £1500, assuming there are no horror stories lurking.
Advertise it for a little more and it'll give you some haggling room.
Should sell quite quickly, especially since Total BMW have just done a big feature on them.
