Spax do a set too, again not cheap. Why not buy a decent suspension set up for the same price as a cheap coilover kit?

Now driving an E46 320D touring
i wanted to know this but been told a good 40-60 drop suspension kit will be good engough for fast road and tarck use also
but its which one to go for which make/mix of shocks n springs??
my e30 has already been lowered but i carnt figure out who the springs are made by and what drop too haha
i'll post up a pic so it helps!!

Didn't Hottuning to cheap coilovers? May be mistaken!
Some good bilstein B8's or something with a 40/40 drop would be fine I reckon. Not sure about springs. Need some conformation on that though, but I'm sure they'd do ok.
There are lots of cheaper shocks which are fairly rock solid and could prove good on a track.

Uni is killing the project.
Don't know if mine was a one off, but I found the Cup kit awfully bouncy and soft...
Got B8s and Eibachs then and never looked back.
One of the lads here got Coilovers for around the £600 mark last week which look pretty good, will be interesting to see how they preform when they are on.
If It was me, I'd like to try save up for GAZ though...

M42 rightness above 6500rpm, nobody can hear you scream
Nope, 60/40 too...
The B8s and eibachs are a far better ride anyway... took them both on the exact same road after fitting them and the B8s made the car handle much better

Demon Tweeks sell Supersport Race Coilovers that are only £350+VAT, I've got a set on order.
Beemer 325i Track car currently in production.
Audi S4 currently transporting me around.

I got a set of H&R coilovers for £700 and they have completely transformed my sport.
I can't remember exactly where I got them from, but you have to send your front shocks to them. They're then sent to H&R who make them into coilovers and then the full set (including brand new rears) are sent to you. Highly recommended.
This is where I got them from: europerformance.co.uk
