gear box rattling

its probably nothing but when i got back tongight there was a rattling noise when the clutch was disengaged, the clutch needs a new master cyl but cannot see how this can affect it much

once the cluch is engadged it goes away

any ideas??? is it serious????

Clutch Release bearing mate. Nothing to worry about

My Focus has been doing this for approximately 3 years so as above, nothing to worry about, just annoying!

it will be the clutch release bearing that makes the rattle noise, but the best thing to do is to change the whole clutch complete mate
