m tech 2 bodykit
Moderator: martauto
try the for sale section, or even Ebay , i got lucky twice, i payed £175 for a full m-tech 2 kit, and another time i payed around £250 for a full kit..but if im correct the prices have gone up, as they are getting rare to get hold of..soo your probly looking any thing between £200-£400 for a genuine kit now.
Hi,newbie on here and looking at replacing my 7 style kit car for a 325i convertable.I would like to have a M-tec 2 kit on it but whats classed as a full set. Also from some posts on this link is there a difference between a coupe and convertable kit. Also I had a 323i 1984 with dog leg gearbox and lsd years ago and had a fibre glass kit fitted, and your right looked good to start with but soon got shabby.
Cant stop looking at the cars for sale on here and ebay but got to pace my self because ive got to sell the 7 first.
Cheers Andy

Wiki to the rescue:

...though that's perhaps badly worded.
The rear bumper and valance were part of the same moulding, not seperate items.

Not splitting hairs, but it's more of an aerodynamic/handling package is it not? Wiki only refer to it as a styling option..
Thanks to that spoiler, cornering at a ton+ is a whole different ball game.. Not that I've done a side by side test but the skirts and door builds surely greatly improve streamlining and high speed stability too.
Hats off to the e30 - it's as stylish as it is functional; with or without its warpaint!

I didn't know it was designed for that, in fact I'd sort of assumed it had the aerodynamic properties of a wardrobe, since it's effectively just a big box.
