Thought i'd start a thread to see how every one's done this year, just add a comment about the day/how you feel you did/etc and then add your best time to the list.

I couldn't quite match last years best(14.3 i think ?) which is suprising since i've stripped the car so i should have been a bit quicker ??

i did a minor diet for the last few runs, no spare emptied the boot and half the rear seats

After a major diet to the interior with only half a dash and one front seat left, the result was not enough weight over the rear and wheel spin all the way through first, most of second and into third.

With practice it could be improved but still happy! :D As quick as an M3 CSL but a fraction of the cost.

16.1 @ 86 mph :o: From memory as I forgot to collect my slip :(

Had a laugh though. Got refused to run twice for dripping fluids. I need to practice my "launches"

I was shocked how bloody quick some of the Mini's were and how bad that horrible drag modified E34 was. But there was a really nice E34 M5 that was running NOS ON that looked the part.

Is it safe to say a E30 will do about 14.4 to about a 1 ina tood run.

I was too scared to even attempt to put my cab down for a run as last thing I was to do was drip oil and spoil it for everyone esle, also the thought of losing the the guy with L plates one in the 1seris was too great :D.

Was really suprized to see people running 7 seris. But you got to give it to that TVR, at one point I saw it hit 125mph on the finish line

Really nice to see some of you again.

Highly impressed with the E30 turn out and some cracking cars.

Spent most of the afternoon watching Oguz and Simon13 battle it out. Oguz's car has loads more to come (sounds awesome!) and that 2.7 Alpina Touring really is impressive.

There was a red Touring that was really quick! Was that you Barry?

Also a couple of 2 doors that were in the high 14's.

Oz......get that thing mapped!! 2 hours on my dyno with Mr A-tech and laptop should see that engine producing everything it's got.

Had a good day yesterday, now need 9J rears for a better launch but none the less Oz's old sport lump that tryed to kill it's self at the 'burg' served me well.

Saying that, on the weds before pod my gear box shed it's lay-shaft bearings and shredded the gear 2 cog and mangled the clutch - not so impressed with ripping it apart with days to go and replacing the parts but worth it in the end.

Oz - it'll be interesting if you can remember what the old tec1 done a few years ago?

Favorite car of the day has to be, with no biases or ar5e kissing - - - Si's alp 2.7 Touring.

My first run was the best one, managed another one with a booth full of camping gear for 3 persons, 16.5.

Gaz tank was almost completely full. My third to last run my throttle cable came stuck so it kept revving to 3000rpm, second to last run it did it again after i 'fixed' it. Last time I thought i really fixed it, but it kept revving at 5k rpm after I heated the tires (tried to). Didn't want to look after it so launched from 5000 rpm. Result, all the way home with a broken diff, I think I broke a tooth of the cog.

I almost won from a e36 320i cab (was catching up on him), a E28 535i was just 1 car length ahead, but I missed my second gear there. I think quite good results for a completely stock 318is :P

Thats pretty quick James, well done. Was that the M50 turbo?

On a seperate note, who owened the grey 2dr 325i turbo which came on the drift circuit did a few laps and promptly blew the headgasket? Sounded great for the (short) while it lasted!

Yep - Kynda's motor, it heated up and forced the coolant out some how.

Cars apparently running fine now - shame this happened after i left as i wanted to see it on the circuit
