Although a nice thing to have and a major improvement i would say they are not necesary. A good set of pads, some ate super blue brake fluid and some braided hoses with be a good and effective upgrade to what you have and isn't going to break the bank.

its not council its just downright sad. whats the point in trying to kid on that you have proper brakes when you havent? people in the know will spot them as fakes and people not in the know wont care. the only ones you might impress are the boy racers doing handbrake turns in the halfords car park.
