Hi all,
Im thinking of taking out one of the high beam lights (the one closest to the kidney grill) to put in a custom air feed for my filter. does anyone know where you stand as far as mot is concerned? do you need to disconnect the other one ect?

sorry to butt in but i was thinking could the dipped headlight (smiley one) be used in the high beam place so all 4 lights would be on instead of just the outer ones when driving normally at night, would be easy to make smoked light without one off them cross things too, i could use my old non smiley projectors so not to have 4 smileys too, obviously this would have to be reversed come mot time

Lights have to be symmetrical.
There has to be 2 main beams and two dip beams, ie one each side. Whether that is in one lamp or two, there has to be one type of beam each per side.

there would be 2 mains and 2 dips if you used two golf lights in place of the dip lights and you would then be free to remove one main unit for an air intake and just leave the remaining main beam one where it is but not conected . dont know how well they would fit though

There has to be a matching, working pair of both main and dipped beams, with the dipped beams correctly aimed.
Each main and dipped beam can be combined into a single unit.
