Looks like corroded alloy to me as its all over the cam cover and other alloy parts.

Armarni, move the front axel stands to the chassis rails further in from where you have put the axel front stands.

Its always been sitting on the chassis rail.Im not a Complete plonker.Not much engine work gone on need to get the bit that rotted off the block sorted .Apparently welding is not a good idea

A connector for a hose.It literally came off in the hose
Do you think if i got the same size connector (piece of pipe) welded in its place it would work?Welded by a pro btw
