There is no such thing as a 4 door sport.

You could order a 4door and have all the sport options (other than the rear door delete option !

there's no sport part about your car mate just C2 Alpina.
sports in various trims and specs were only sold in 2 doors in the UK,SA,Australia and the US as far as i'm aware. Germany just specced theirs up
US and SA cars were called the 325iS. US car had some wierd bodykit

And yes they made a M-technik Kit in 2 door, 4 door and estate variants, they also put the kit on the S14 engine 320is and the alpina based engined SA 325is, just having the body kit doesn't mkae it a 'sport'.
Just as any 1.3 bonus escort with a Cossie kit on isn't an escort cosworth.

Whats the log book got to do with it anyway judging by how many people on ebay sell cars with undeclared engine swaps I wouldn't be surprised if there are thousands of log books out there ith made up crap on them.

Not a very accurate analogy as the specced up 325i 4 doors will have exactly the same engine as the 325i sport.march109 wrote: Just as any 1.3 bonus escort with a Cossie kit on isn't an escort cosworth.
Was the close ratio gearbox an option extra on 4-doors too? And the black headlining, maplight mirror, and mtech suspension? Cos then there's pretty much no difference apart from fact that they came with the name "sport," have 2 doors, and have a higher value.

I totally agree. If you have kids, don't get a four door, tourings are the only way to go. I can't understand people spending money on a 4 door, they still just look like a, four door.Simon13 wrote:4 doors are parts donors, no more no less!
Each to their own though.
I always thought that the 4 door kit was the same as the touring kitmarch109 wrote:E30 AND kids that ould be financial suicide for me.c2pete wrote:with kids 4 doors rulee36boy wrote: 2 doors rule![]()

My 4-door is a full sport spec, but not a sport, as there was no 4-door sport model, although I like to think mine is
Mine has the LSD, close ratio gearbox, map reading mirror, full sport leather (with 4 headrests), full mtech-2 kit, m-tech suspension, 15"bbs, air-con, cruise control, heated front seats, hot-locks, headlight wash/wipe (that works) and all this from factory, so it's pretty special to me (sorry to go on abit)

my 4 door alpina is a breaker as well but its going into another 4 door for now until i have the money to find,or can be bothered with all the hassle again a 2 door shell as good as my four door one,the 4 door is quite growing on me now as it looks different to most of the nice e30 that are still around, mint shell means more to me than number of doors,it will still have plenty of alpinaness to steal simons phrase lol
Four doors? Are there people out there who own/drive them then???!!!!! WOW I'm truely shocked, doner vehicles obviously (except those stupid rear door things) Next you'll be telling me people buy 4pot E30's

Close ratio box was an option on all 325i's, my old 325i convertible with alpina sport pack had one from new. All sport features were availible as an option except one, black head lining, this only came with M3's, 318is's and Sports, ALL two door cars.Firefly2005 wrote:Not a very accurate analogy as the specced up 325i 4 doors will have exactly the same engine as the 325i sport.march109 wrote: Just as any 1.3 bonus escort with a Cossie kit on isn't an escort cosworth.
