alright? went to the autosport show yesterday, a huge disappointment from other years, we normally exhibit there but decided against it as we end up busy as hell for 2 days catching up with the same old customers, which is nice but doesnt make sense when we're so busy at work. anyhow glad we didnt go cuz the turnout wasnt a patch on previous years and the amount of stands were much depleted, motorsport is suffering big time :( :( :(

anyway, once i'd waded through the barrys collecting stickers and getting their picture taken with lycra clad birds, (i think it counts as a 'pull' in barry land) found a couple of BM's in the mix and a few other lovelies.

I was there a couple hours friday, it was quiet. Funnily enough my new job hasn't been affected by the slow down in spending like the motorsport trade has.

Ive seen this car at very nearly every show I've been to. And every time I see it I wonder why its so popular. To me and lots of others its such a naff colour! And although the point of Pistonheads hall wasnt to show standard cars, I wish theyd chosen something like a Black or Red SportEvo or C76Jons old car or even Darylls Silver one. I actually prefered the Silver E30 behind it.

Im not sure about the "having a photo taken with a model" thing. I must confess I did with 4 girls on Sunday. Whether or not its sad or just a bit of fun I dunno. I doubt I'll ever bump into them in Sainsbury's. I doubt that I'll ever find myself in bed/a club with them. So Im not sure Im deluding myself too much . :(

I think I can tell my mates are a bit more sad though "ooh she smelled really nice" or "She really pushed her boobs into me then!" LOL

(now I've typed out an angry reply at your insinuation that my wife has nads... then deleted it when I realised you were implying she owns mine...)

I doubt she'd notice.

Yes. HTH

The BEST car at Gaydon in 07? The one event where all the completely original cars arrive, the ones that live on a bed of peacock feathers. The cars that have 10K miles on them and EVERY SINGLE receipt for every nut bolt and washer the cars ever had? The ones that AREN'T resprayed a non E30 M3 colour are? The ones that dont have chavvy black and silver number plates?

Says to me that the BMW CC GB dont take concours very seriosuly anymore...

Hello Zoners!! Must say this has been a very interesting thread :? I'm the owner of the Purple/Mauve/blue E30 M3 :D It does cause a stir whereever it goes. Mixed opinions and comments always taken on board.. But like it not its PHAT!! It didnt land at the NEC TWICE last year because I got lost on the M40??
Its a true Individual which means its not the normal Black, red or white although i'd love a black Sport Evo
But a 1 off!!! Trend setter not Follower

And its BLUE I'm sure there was a spec savers stall there?? :)
