Just curious really... I remember years ago a mate getting one it was a black 2door 318i didn't have it long as he couldn't afford the insurance. But even then I always thought about getting one... didn't think it would be 8yrs later though lol

Now i've got one I tend to look out for them when I drive about. Quick wave or flash of headlights etc.

Recently though there is loads around Warrington, in the past 6months I had only seen one or two and then the last 4 weeks i've seen about 10 different ones! (any members on here, maybe?)

Drove to London and back on Friday and seen 4 or 5 different ones two of which were cabs.

Nice to see...

Do you ever notice a sudden influx of E30's in your area and wonder where they came from? when before there was only yours and maybe one or two others...?
Keeping it standard.... someone has too.

V. often.... My neighbour has dumped his dolphin grey 3.25i outside my house... Its not running at the moment its in a bit of a state but i'd take it off his hands if i had some spare cash for a project. On the opposite side of my block theres a gorgeous black touring... i tried to get him to join the zone but you can only ask!... Also theres a guys who owns a calipso blue vert, and he has a caspian red e30 in his drive. In the opposite direction theres a lady who has a dark blue vert, chrome bumpers. When clean it looks very nice. There are a few more knocking about locally... dont think any of them are zoners.

Usually see a couple a week round here, more at weekends.

Like most cars though, once you own one you tend to notice a lot more of them on the road.

Cheers,

I'm lucky to have BMJG a stones throw from my house with a very nice cab he's restoring and there is a reasonably tidy 318is across the street.
I see quite few in town, saw a 'c' reg 318i in town yesterday, christ knows what colour it was, schnellvomitgrun, or something.

I see 6 every morning on my way to work, most are just peoples commuters no acknowledgment at all, but strangely I live in a small village where there is a Real Nice Reiger wide arch car in dark Blue, and also a Nice yellow car with e46 style bumpers fitted,
Its strange to think both these cars have not been on here yet the owners are obviously enthusiasts, keep meaning to stop and chat but its a bit geekish.

Just gives you an idea of how many cars 'were sold, 20 years later and I still see 6 on a 8 mile trip.
Its probably the fact I have one now but Tourings seem to be the most popular.

Flashed a nice cab a few weeks ago...The owner had his lid down in the freezing weather, although at least it was sunny!

I see lots of old chromers, in surprisingly good nick but very strange colours - all of them are very standard due to the strict laws on modifying they have here.

325ix is probably the model I see the most.

Hardly ever. There are about 5 of them up here, including mine, my old lachs touring and a really, really bad 4 door 318i. Hence the reason I have to come onto the zone for my fix....

Up here in Lancashire i see 2 to 3 per month (always the same ones mind!) and also a rather nice M3 8) .

When i went on holiday down South last year i was stunned by the amount of e30s i came across..........loads in comparison to here. 8O
