just wondered how many of you own a bmw design neon blue i know there was only a certain amount made? ive owned one for 5 years never part with it

Think 200 were made in neon blue, and 200 in neon green.

here's a green one...

They didn't come with tech 2 kit, that's been added afterwards. It's a fellow zoner's car, hope he doesn't mind me showing this pic (if he still has the car).

i really want a design cab!

There is one for sale on piston heads with tech 2 kit but doesnt have mot or tax and seems abit dodgy..

If it's the one with the 318is engine in it and cream leather beware...been on and off ebay many times....he was supposed to be selling me the kit and leathers, and then appeared back on ebay again claiming it was running fine!

When I was looking for a cab to buy this year, I saw at least 4 neon blue ones for sale. One one neon green. The blue is very nice in the flash. I'm sure the green is too.

Only problem is they only come with m40's.

Personally i'd want a Calypso Red with m20b25

Yep thats the one! theres so many dodgy mofos out there it really pi*ses me off

Very true, but the neon blue and green's in theory should be hard to find aswell.

I'm in no rush, as i'm not looking to buy one for a while yet...happy with the touring for now

dont suppose some1 has a link to this car do you? i think it may be a local car, and if so he was also suppose to be selling me the carpets from the boot. Cheers.
