Has anybody actually converted to angel eyes on a pre facelift cabbie. I have been trying to find a set but they all seem to be for facelift models and looking at the pics compared to my fittings they ain't gonna fit.
And on the eighth day God created........The E30!
Here man, check this shit out. It's pretty much BA. You can make them fit any way you want to

After you make them, you just have to heat up your glass to take it off. Glue the kit under the glass, glue the glass back on and SHIZZAM! You've got angel eyes. Let me know if this helps.

I have them on mine, and I like them, but to be honest it doesn't keep with the lines or the shape of the car...arcdef wrote:how exactly is it council when its a nice expensive option on most new cars?
Still look cool as tits though
No mine is a facelift, mine are complete units though, no DIY needed, I only got them as i got them for less then they could have been.jacko wrote:mattyb240 is yours a pre facelift?
There are lots of them of the DIY stuff around.
I thought you could swap pre-facelift headlights to facelifts without a problem though? I could be wrong though?
I think they look cool, but it is YOUR car and no-one else's so do what YOU like with them, ignore other peoples comments.

Well I've finally found a set of angels that are pre-facelift, only problem is they are smoked. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-ANGEL-EYE-H ... dZViewItem
Not if they would suit a Royal Blue cab chromie.
Would they be (in the words of roscoepcoltrane) C-O-U-N-C-I-L.
Maybe somebody thats a dab hand at photoshop could have a little play?

I use to have a set on my royal blue cab but the quality of the light unit's aren't all that. Me and my mate made our own set with original BMW lamp's and CCFL rings of ebay.

I need to take up to date pic's with my new lights, their alot more subtle than the ones in the pic, hope that helps.

mate, how do you tell these are prefacelift... I've always wanted smokes/Angel eyes on mine but I was left resigned to chopping up the loom to fit prefacelift connectors....jacko wrote:Well I've finally found a set of angels that are pre-facelift, only problem is they are smoked. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-ANGEL-EYE-H ... dZViewItem

you can fit the post lift lights in your preface lift car, you need IIRC the entire units (main and driving light)and frame, its a direct un bolt old bolt in the new, then you must graft the post face lift connectors on to your prefacelift wires, a bit of solder and heatshrink and bob is your uncle
and you lot dont know sqaut about council angel eyes.... surely my blue angel eyes are the purest of council
