hi guys i changed the timing belt on the weekend started the car ok. everything working ok. switched it off no problem started it up today and car was not runing ok then over revd by its self i switched it off now it wont start??? any ideas the engine turns no problem but wont fire up??? :cry:

You check the crank sensor my measuring its resistance at its plug. Should be around 540 ohms across two of the pins.
Failing this test confirms a dud one, but passing it doesn't confirm a good one.
The revving up before it quit suggests that the fuel mixture went weak before it stopped, so the first thing i would check is the fuel supply to the fuel rail
