Whats the point in deleting all those replies? Are we not allowed to discuss anymore???

The guy is breaking the car because he had an accident and posted the pics of the damage, we were just discussing the damage showed in the pics as a result of said accident. Some of the replies may of been a bit harsh, so surely those were the ones that should be edited/removed.

Not having time to see if he posted the pics in one of the other threads that I cant find now, where else would the discussion take place?

Discussions are fine, but this thread like many others just turn into a slagging match.

I'll leave everyone to slag each other of, loose there temper and go beat the misses up then................ :D

Like I said, some of the replies probably needed editing or removing, but removing the whole lot is a bit much IMO.
From what I had chance to read in the other thread, I think most people had their say, so a reminder to keep it clean and not turn it into a slagging match would of been better. If people ignored that then the next step could be to lock/remove the thread.

Thats a bit much, dont you think? :?

It was a joke - a bad one i guess!

All of the replies removed were off topic or irrelevant - they are saved in the 'backroom' - hopefully i didn't move anything by mistake.

"here are pics rip" is hardly an invitation to an enlightened adult conversation, he hasnt even mentioned what he wants us to talk about in this topic... is it just so we can look and not comment (in which case he should have asked for it to be locked straight away so we couldnt), or like EVERY other post ever made on an internet forum that has pictures in it, does he want us to comment on the pictures?

Mine wasnt off topic, it was an observation on the damage that he claims was from a '70mph drift'.

If he had hit something at 70 mph the damage would be worse.

So '70mph my arse' is relevant.

Just seemed an odd thing to say really.

Im not sure how the replies about the damage (and how it was caused) are off topic - if the pics are posted, we are all going to discuss them. Surely thats why they have been posted?

DOH!

Its a thread to discuss his damage and what caused it. winkeye

(I'm going to shut up now though, having just read the disciplinary rules post and not being sure if I've had any strikes or warnings 'officially' yet... this is not the place for me)

Why was mine removed ?
I said that I liked the car and it was sad to see it like that and I hoped he sold all the parts to get some money back.

Mark will have moved some posts which, if left, would have made the thread look dis-jointed.

I wasnt ripping him to pieces... I thought '70mph my arse' was being quite civil...

Short and to the point, not insulting, just commenting.

or maybe a passing fat pensioner with a pocket stuffed with pension pound notes cushioned the blow and absorbed the impact (another bad taste joke btw :D )
so this is the famous 70mph drifting incident thats causing such an uproar? winkeye we all make mistakes(except me obviously :D )
it doesnt look to bad to me if its only rear quarter panel damage and as the window is still intact i wouldnt expect any roof or c pillar damage. if the rest of the car is solid then id probably repair it.
