Run away!!

 not really mate, your one of the lucky ones! with the front the bumper has to stay on from my experience. On the rear i think you can take it off though; bumper bolt access might be a bit fun though?

PM simon13, he has one on his council dynamics ringmeister an it hasn't fallen off yet!

The way mine is fitted you will need to remove the bumper by unbolting the the 4 nuts that hold the mounting brackets to the rear pannel, (not the 2 allen bolts from underneath as you would usually when removing the bumper as with the lip fitted you will not be able to access the bolts to bolt the bumper back on). At this point you can postion the lip and secure it to the car with either self tapping screws or rivets. Finally refit the bumper. 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the bracket on are accessed from under the car and one is accessed from inside the boot (drivers side). The 3 under the car will probably be seized on so soak them in penatrating oil or heat them up to free them off.

yes ian those are the two bolts that hold on the bumper; T55 torx type. If you can access them with the bumper on there than take it off and fit it, will make life much easier.

Calypso red i reckon?

Matt got any pictures of yours on?

Yea its a simple job with the bumper off, just dont forget that you cannot access the 2 allen bolts that hold the bumper on with the lip in place, but if you do it as I described its very easy.

If the torque head bolts are the 2 you can see looking up at the bottom of the bumper then you need to ignore them as you cannot get them back on with the lip in place. Insted you need to remove the 4 nuts that hold the brackets to the body shell that the 2 torque head bolts go through(if that makes sense)?

Ignore the arrowed bolts insted remove the nuts that hold the brackets on that those bolts fasten to. You can see the black bracket behing the bumper its the nuts that hold that to the shell you need to remove.

that clears that all up then, now i know how to remove it, i think ill attach it to the bumper and then fibre glass the crack and spary it up so the bumper match the skirt.

cheers everyone for the advise.
