lol, I have the other half of the set! And since mine is an E reg it should have the non-smileys and yours being an F should have the smileys :)

I can't say I notice the difference in beam pattern between the two - do you?

heat up the glass and remove the backing plate, swap it with a broken smiley one... tech article on how to make DIY smoked lights will explain how to open the lights (you should smoke em while you are in there!!) you can use the light from an E34, E32 or E30, get a smashed one and remove the plastic bit, should be free!!

been raised before, these are EXACTLY the same as smileys but the only difference is the backing plate, no effect on the beam but the smileys allow a bit of light to shine about a couple of metres in front of the car (which is useless)

i have them on my 1992 cab and here most cars have them (smileys are quite rare round these parts)
