I was outbid by FAB on a touring a few months ago, that as far as I could see, had nothing special about it except for a dog guard load cover. Going by what they paid for this car, then the answer to your question is: lots!

ok got pics, its not 1000000% imaculate, it has some scratching around the metal ends (shown in the photo) and the sun has darkened the end tab slightly but thats it.

oh and its slightly damp in the pics as i wiped it off with a damp cloth, thats why it looks water marked its just where i wiped it and its not quite dry yet. not realy marked at all.

pics can be seen without the forum resizing tham at

Is there any legal requirements involving dog guards and estates? my dog sits happily in the boot without attempting to climb over i was just wondering if there were any legal implications.. he doesnt wear a seatbelt it chafes his fur.

Nothing legal but I like to make sure our mutt is in a dog harness/seat belt - even if its just to save me from catching a Basset in the back of the neck should we crash. Of course, she has short fur.....

Technically thats not a dog guard anyway but a cargo net. There's a separate part listed by BMW which is a conventional metal grid. I checked about a year ago and it was still available at about £150.

My dog manages to get through mine too :x :x
I've found though,he won't go through it if i'm in the car, just when I leave him in it,the way i've found to stop this is whenever he's in the back and I need to get out for whatever reason i'll always park the car in such a w ay he has to watch me from the back window, then he's not inclined to climb into the front where he can't see where i've gone.

Morats correct too,it's really a cargo net.

(plus loads of other e30 bits for zoners.) call me on 07901 888019 if interested. adi
