Help!

My fuel gauge has decided to act up now. Its jumping all over the place!

I've been running about with no back box on for a couple of weeks now since it decided to break (waiting on a new scorpion from the zone shop) so im not sure if sumthing has vibrated lose?

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Stu

Could be that the little nut on the back of the dash has come off/loose.

There's a little nut on the back of the fuel and temp guages. My fuel guage started going a bit mad, I found the bolt somewhere in the drivers footwell while I was doing something else.

I had a good look in the drivers footwell & couldn't see anything. :(

My theory is the the cable that powers the gauge has been damaged & its only getting power sometimes?

But thats just a guess? lol

Thanks Stu

I found it there after removing much of the dash. If it was loose there is a chance it could cause the gauge to work intermittantly.

Good luck sorting it!

(oh and if you ever have the dash out tighten up that nut it's a 7mm brass nut.

it could also be the wire conector which is on the fuel gauge sender under ur seat. You should check that out as well

Good luck
