Hi all,

I have just purchassed my first E30, which is a 325 SE, 2 door model. I love the little beauty,

I was just wondering what was the best suspension package to lower the ride( 30mm-60mm ) height?

I have a budget of anything upto 400 notes max.

Also will these mods suit a upgrade to 17inch alpina alloys?

Cheers.

when you find out let me know, have the same car on 17"pina reps, its lowered about 40mm but it was long ago i think and have no idea what make.

be careful of your ride and handling pal, tried a mates 15"bbs on mine, came to this conclusion...

17s for show

15s for go.

ps, spend some of that £400 replacing any worn bushes etc, made hugh diff to mine.

h+r cup kit is the way to go(35mm) and anti roll bars too the car will then outhandle an mtec set up car. As for wheels 15 inch BBS are way better than 17"

H&R stuff is tried and tested and alot of people like it.

The KW suspension kits from experience are also very good and also cheaper than the H&R Cup Kits.

We currently have the KW 40/40 kit on special offer @ £260 (normally £325).

For roughly £400 you can also have Bilstein B8 dampers with KW 40mm springs - this works so well together.

Cheers Guys, for all your help, I suspose it would be best to change the shocks aswell as springs. I will change all bushes if needed also.

Whats your thoughts on a front strut brace? And up rated roll bars?

Anti roll bars are an excellent upgrade.

It's one of our top sellers.
