As embarrasing as it is asking this question wil a 318 i.s fit a 316i. Ive been offered a full stainless i.s exhaust for my car pretty cheap and i think it may help slighty to cover up the tinny engine sound. I know its not the best of engine but an engine coversion is on the cards fpr later this year.

the 'is' exhaust is very difficult to find as an aftermarket one. The standard ones are expensive.
i think this is because there different so i wouldnt think so.
if the exhaust is cheap buy it any way then sell it to me.

I got my scorpion stw from there
that was for a 318is and it only cost me £58
and that is now fitted to my 318i turbo cab but my exhaust is custom
so it had to be chopped to make it fit

im putting a 318is into my 316i at the moment and the front section of my 316 exhaust doesnt fit on. would i be right in thinking that if i got a 318is downpipe, it would link the manifold to the single exhaust pipe? i think it would be close! my 316 is a custom powerflow system btw.
