I need to remove my rear seat its a 2dr. The seat is cloth and has head rests if that makes any difference.

Can anyone tell me how to do this and is there any advice?

Cheers

Assuming it's not a really early one, the base just unclips as you pull it up (pull at the front, at either side). If it is the early type, there's 2 really obvious screws to take out.

Then there's a couple of bolts on extensions below the bottom corners of the back; undo them & then it'll just lift out vertically; there are 2 hooks that secure it.

Easy job :thumb:

Then just pull the bench up, the upper part has 2 small 10mm bolts securing it. Remove these and lift up and your in business!

Don't rip your rear trim panels, be careful when removing the seat back as the metal bits can rip the bottom of the trim panels.

The bolts holding the seat back are hidden away just behind the bottom corner of the side trim panel... you'll see what i mean when you pull it apart.
