Ferry booked, cheque in the post
I'd put silver on the form though I think... can't decide between black & white now!

Sorry - managed a much longer trip last year... although probably not quite so much beer. Crap. How much do you charge?

Ziggy my rates are flexible. Per square ft on space its 8 cans of stella, or 150 cans of fosters as it really is rat piss.

Yeah i've read the e36coupe forum, mine got activated the next day, perhaps worth trying to register again to totally piss the moderator off :D If you have no luck, i'll buzz you my account details and you can have a gander.

The only noticeable thing thing I remember was the silver stripes might not happen due to a supplier change, so i circled silver and white, with it being clear that silver was my preference.

There is a convoy thread, with the boat we are on mostly being filled by e30's, my audi and one 306 i think. Perhaps we should do a convoy thread? or shall we just continue on this one?

If I find some fosters in a bin somewhere, then you've got a deal. Otherwise, I certainly ain't spending money on it!

Ta :) Don't think I'll bother though - just wanted to know if there was much interesting on there & I guess there isn't! If you spot any more convoy discussions or anything, let me know though? When are the 'dirty sicks mostly heading down then?
Perhaps we should do a convoy thread? or shall we just continue on this one?
Erm... maybe start another thread nearer the time, but this one'll do for now I'd have thought... :thumb:

Thurs morning (8am ferry!) - want to be there & set up to enjoy Friday to the full... after the hangover of course.

May even have a totally empty car (mate who's supposed to be coming still isn't certain he can get the time off, but I've booked him on the ferry anyway!), or there'll be space in the back anyway... Just a thought if you were contemplating coming on your own / not having your car finished! :)

Wasn't in last night to check emails but given we only had three spaces left on Monday, I think we might be sold out.

New ride for me. Just picked up a ferkin gorgeous e36 M3 Evo last night in Arctic silver with a bulletproof dealer history. Happy Guy today!

I take it by sold out you mean maximum number of cars.

So if I arrange with one of the guys transport etc (helping cover costs of ferry and fuel) then all I have to pay you directly is £25 for the additional person?

If so, I'm in! Already booked the time off work :D

Jim - I've got space whether my mate (Chris) comes or not; only extra thing'd be amending the ferry booking - think I read somewhere on this thread that it'd be £25? Either way, good choice 8)
(disclaimer - wind deflectors on a cab won't stop back seat passengers from having their head removed by the wind on the autoroute - I may take pity!)

Guy - lets see the pics & lets hope you can manage to avoid big fines from the Gendarmerie in it! :)

And when you get bored of being blown around in ziggys chariot you can jump in mine for some refinement :D

In fact you the only time you'd have to definatly be in the "right" car is at the ferry. I would offer to book you on mine, but i'm not coming back till the 21st, making a week out of it so that wouldn't really work to well.

I'm going to look a right plank with viper stripes coming back on my own several days after Le man :o:

Looks like there are three of us coming now so I may have to ditch the E30 Cab.

My friends are on the look-out for a hire of some sort and have come up with this:

http://www.rentadub.co.uk/dubs.htm 8)

Personally, I am swayed by this:

Guy

I saw on Pistonheads that you were talking about Speed Chills. I had a little search and found this
http://www.speedchills.com/

Can you shed some light on what it is and how it works from first hand experience. I had a read and it looks like for £35 you can buy food and drink (draft beer, wine & tea, coffee etc) and provides somewhere covered to eat and drink.

Is it worth it.

Cheers

Paul
