I thought I'd put pics of this up for anyone else interested.

Got a leaky sunroof, water coming in somewhere, look no further the half car cover winkeye , its made to fit the e30 roof line and fits properly, no baginess going on.

I know winters nearly over now but for £44.00 I found it helpful and keep bird shit, frost, snow etc off your windows, also stops the roof and leathers going green.

Matt, if that,s left outside, then those straps will not do much for your
paintwork in a strong wind.

thanks mate, most of it is on the glass and windows, its very secure anyway and dont think it would scratch it really. Its in a sheltered area next to a wall too.

Plus the car will be getting a blowover in the next 6 months anyway.

Plus it would do more damage to the inside of the car with it off, than it will do to the outside with in on if you kno what I mean, need to get a new hood sorted at somepoint and eliminate all leaks and possibly invest in a hardtop

haha I know. Buy one when I first fitted it I wasnt sure, but now way prefer it to a smooth bootlid. Make sure you get one with good quality rubber though, thats not faded or split.

that's my girlfriends garage and loads of shit in there, I've got a heated garage to put it in up here but need to get the right springs on because it gets stuck, and also I wanted to bring it down south with me to Exeter soon, but no garage down there.

750 mate, bur I've not had a good week car wise, suspected head gasket failure, not certain yet, 2 punctures and one of my top lines has a hairline crack in, which they say they can repair, I hope so, because can't see me getting one on its own, the cars fucked me off a treat, its been fine till now and then everything goes wrong as once rusty piece of shite.

Now the tax has run out too, so might have a break from it for a bit, till I've calmed down.

Ouch!!! Just before the weather perks up aswell! Can't see you finding a single on its own, I'm sure if its a hairline crack it can be sorted. Other than the suspected head gasket issue she has been good to you think you might have upset her by contemplating selling a few days back lol

Gives you a bit of time to sort everything out before the meets/show start.

true there's no rush I suppose, will aim to get her back on the road by April, as long as I make Beaulieu I'll be happy, need to fit 6 pot lowering springs, as the four pots that were 40mm lowering springs are probably 70 or more due to the extra engine weight, the coils are nearly touching, then get engine right, weld wheel, buy a spare, fit mtech2 podsand skirts, after that a bit of spraying, that might have to wait till end of summer though.

Why didn't you go the whole hog and buy a full one? That would surely protect all the paintwork?

I know what your saying mate, but wanted it so its legal as will be parked on a private road, generally if they can see the number plates the piggers won't give you any shit, because they can still check tax, mot, insurance.

Its quick to put on and to take off and does the job in protecting the vert roof, you know you want one, but it go on.
+1 you know you want a grey vin bag on your roof, 44 pounds put to good use, hold off on the rust removal, this will prolong the process winkeye
