Auto Dimming rear veiw mirror ??

Has anyone retro fitted an e36 auto dimming rear veiw mirror?

also do you think if you removed the e36 mirror from the "ball" bit that it pivots on it would fit an e30 mirror ball pivot mount thing?

you can pick them up really cheap, plus the red light on e39 ones would be good for the remote central locking LED

looking at this an e30 cab mount would work if not

You might get it to work, I have one on my e87 and is a handy thing to have.
