True Ian i see what your saying.

But when you have a works van ,e36 and a focus there's no point using the e30 the the gritters are about to show face.

The sport and M3 get tucked up most of the time through the year, the E46 sits idle on the drive and the E30 touring carries the load over winter.

Mine's been tucked up since early September when the MOT ran out, although with last weeks weather I was itching to drive it.

I recently purchased a Volvo S40 T5 as a semi sensible daily and have the Dodge locked up in the unit awaiting attention. So money was a big factor in putting mine into hibernation. :o:

well, my cab has been sat outside doing nothing for the last two winters, so, this year, she will be driving in it :D

i've just put the hard top on now the heatwave seems to have finished, and i think it'll stay on for the winter now (well, unless we get some nice winter snowy days for some wooly hat hood down time  )

other than that, as some have already said, she is my only car and daily drive so snow, grit and horrible stuff here we come :(

Wow the front lip of your bonnet will look sh1t and get scratched. Great! What are you going to do about having no jacking points, sills, front and rear arches, bulk head or battery tray??? :(

I've had it up and cleaned her off, I've no rust in any of those places and I've dried (in a heated garage with a dehumidifier) undersealed and waxoyled all the places I can physically get to and some I cant..
the front lip of my bonnet and my front wings have a sheet of 'leading edge tape' on them as does the bumper (it's used on aircraft wings and helicopter blades to stop damage) so I reckon I'll be ok.. Image

Mine has until the first grain of grit hits the road. It may not make it back out of the garage in one piece though. :)
