£900 +40 petrol to pick em up = winkeye (a very happy chappy)

3 of them were still sealed in their delivery packaging

couldn't believe my luck, the guy who sold them to me was a top bloke, wasn't a greedy so and so like other sellers can be.

You need 3-4 mm spacers on the fronts to clear the struts.

Not a bad deal at all. I very nearly bought them, but didn't want to pay for the tyres as they looked like budget tyres or a funny make? In hindsight just £900 for the wheels alone would probably have been a good deal!

the more I look at those wheels the more jealous I am becoming! I think i may keep an eye out for another set. How come they were brand new anyway? I cant seem to find them on the borbet web site, can you get them brand new or are they nla?

They stopped making them a long time ago, not sure how long ago though. 900 for the wheels alone wouldn't even have been a bad deal.

Rav - 2mm not enough? I'm probably f00ked with my coilovers when it come to fitting mine!

Brendan, you're going to need abut 5mm mate, if you're on coilovers due to the the spring adjusters sitiing next to the wheel wall.
But, it'll dpend on what size springs you're rolling on too.

5mm, where does that leave the wheel sitting in the arch? One of those time I wish I had 7.5's for up front!

It should be ok on the fronts Brendan, but you will need to maybe roll the front inner arch slightly if your set up is towards "Soft". :D

yeh u will have to if lowering, i have rolled my arches a little with 9j's at the rear, but it still catches  (thats with 1 person in the back though)

I was going to get bump stops but the guy in the shop was saying it would only make the back end bounce a lot and make a loud thud noise when the it hits the bump stop, think i might consider stiffer rear shocks winkeye but then i got no money until next month

wont be able to put pics for a while as the car is in bodyshop getting prepped for a full respray plus other bits and pieces too. so wheels will go on dead last.

plus might need to get arches rolled too it seems

but i promise as soon as all done will be posting pics gallore

thanks

Ozzy
