Hi All - I want to immobilise my E30 320i while it is in a lock-up. Seems like taking out a vital fuse is simple and may deter opportunist thieves. Taking out the battery is a bit of a pain. I also thought about unclipping a vital cable plug.
Any other ideas from anyone?
I accept that a determined thief will overcome just about anything!!
Thanks.[/u]

Lifting up the rear seat base, unscrewing the inspection panel, and unplugging the fuel pump would be effective.
Put the panel loosely back on to keep out mice, and push the seat base back down.

Two spring catches at the front. Just pull up.
Unplug the crank sensor.
The best long term is killswitch on DME + for the ECU and killswitch on fuel pumps.
Remember, the best defence is the custom solutions witch even E30 geeks wouldn't know about.
