I was driving along the dual carriageway earlier today, As my friend and i were laughing and commenting on how the wipers were struggling to pull themselves down against the air resistance of me doing exactly what the speed limit was?
They decided to stop!! I couldn't see a f*****g thing. My mate had to do an Ace Ventura stylie with his head out the window to guide me to the next layby. Half a mile on. I pulled in, the fuse had popped, changed the fuse (Always carry spare fuses!). Woop de doo! Fixed. Until i turned the wipers on. They went half a sweep and stopped. Bo****ks. So i pulled over again. Checked the fuse again... No blowy fusy this time, Hmmm. Can i smell burnt out motor? Yep. I had to drive about seven miles on, wipers Stuck in the middle of the screen. Luckily there was a Halfords Just off the dual carriageway. What did i buy? Good thinkin by my mate, Rainx. Saved my bacon, got me home safe.
Moral of the story...
Always carry spare fuses.
And always put Rainx on your screen.
Was kind of hoping the cops would pull me for speeding. (even though i was doing exactly the speed limit).
Can you tell me why you were speeding young man?
Infact i can officer... My wiper motor is f****d and i'm trying to clear the rain off of my window!
This scared the crap out of me today!

Happened to me going over the woodhead pass at 6 in the morning in the middle of winter following a lorry. Salt and spray is not good for vision. Plus my washer bottle had cracked, zero water in it.
Scary moments. Horrible actually.
