Just buy an E36 rack and lower steering knuckle from the scrap yard. Look on the E30 Zone Wiki and you will find the whole guide on the conversion.

for the e36 rack you will need either new p/s hoses or bend old ones, also need 2 15mm spacers for the subframe mounts,

same for the quicker z3 rack,

theres others, with e46 etc, i think you will need an inline cooler for these as well

I have e36 rack on mine, great up grade. You need to add a grove in the spines for the e30 uj to fit. Get the hoses made up with banjos, I packed up the mounting with washes rather than making spacers.

also need 2 15mm spacers for the subframe mounts,

do these mount on the tabs on the subframe or the bolts above? ive been reading up and some people say you have to use 10mm spacers some say 14mm and some you use 7on top and 7 on the subfram tabs?
