engine sticker says diamond scwartz metallic 181/9 2121483

would this be the right stuff ? or should this paint/brand not be used ? bmw want £30 for a little touch up stick

Halfords sell touch-up sticks by make and colour mate. certainly a good enough colour match for stone chips, etc:

I have been pricing some rattle cans from them to paint my bumper. No idea if there any good but the prices seem reasonable.

I have just recently bought a touch up paint for my e30 1990 Diamond black. Colour code 181. It comes with cleaning cloth and emery paper for cleaning the area. Paint is in a small pot with brush for application. No lacker required to finish off. It has been a great match for my car for £9.99. Website is extreme auto accessories.
