Kiss off the RS6 engine, save some more cash and buy a sorted S2 or if you can afford it an RS2 - I know!

As above, anything is possible.. a chap I know has put an RS6 engine in a Mk1 Mr2..

The guys over at Driftworks are very good at putting large things into small spaces (oo err!), but you'll get laughed out of town if you think the conversion you mention could be done for £1500.

Just read this and thought wow amazing but one thought kept cropping up, provisions for engine and box when it goes wrong.
Personally I would want more force going through the lower sides.

Quite sympathetic in some respects but why even use an M3 shell

for £40 I would watch you turn up at my garage and place a V10 in the back of my touring. And I'll get the good coffee and pastries in.

Cheese and onion is easy, caramelised red onion in balsamic reduction ? or just plain co-op white?

Alas the two points now raised by your last statement would need expanding on. First the value for the tenner you would be receiving and who would be paying the aforementioned extra tenner?
As tenner is not started by a capital I assume you mean a unit of curency expressed in a slang term and not my friend Tenner.
Secondly what will it cost me ? aside from the original offer for a £40 stuffing?

The terminology 'stuff', 'place', 'kettle of fish' and 'car taken' can be dealt with at a later stage with a return to exchanges to be carried out again before final acceptance is undertaken.

It's alright I stuffed a m20 with gearbox in the boot of a mk1 golf because I couldn't get it down my back passage to the shed.

Oh come on, play fair.
Would I lead a liked and respected zoner into a contract only to stitch them up?

Me?
There would be a cooling off period which would give you ample time for a lawyer to read for a fixed fee of £25 max, which I would gladly pay on your behalf :D

well v8 in the boot has been done, even got up a steep drive and over a crest, had to cover about 15 speed bumps and a lane with a raised centre.

(ahhh and yes this would be before the v8 in the boot ruined the boot carpet and the gearbox ruined the rear seats. :( )

You're so wrong!

Jon, what would you want to put a 1970 Bedford VAL70 7.4 diesel into a Triumph Spitfire? I'm thinking of getting something a bit sporty for the summer that's quick but good on juice.
