Evening all, i am assuming that the front and rear bumpers are the same fitment on all e30's,

but if i bought a tech 2 kit from a coupe will the side skirts anddoor pods fit? if so is there anything that would need doing?

any help will be apreciated :D

front and back bumpers are the same, think you might have to change front lower valance if its a pre face lift...far as i know the door and quater pods fit but you have to modify the skirts

modding the skirts looks silly , they are too small !

fibreglass never work well,

to be honest with you dont bother, one thing is paying for a coupe one and then you have to mess with it to make it fit and after all that you still might not be happy as some of them fibreglass kits are :piss:

ok thanks i will pass on the skirts then, just have to wait untill some cabby ones come up.

yeah as i said was unsure on the fibreglass kit, could have it painted and fitted easy enough by a mate at his bodyshop, just unsure on the quality of the kit itself

thanks for the help guys

Keep away from fiberglass kits, modify the skirts from the coupe kit to fit,
or just wait for cab skirts to come along...... one day

ps.. theres a guy breaking a mtec 2 cab on pistonheads.

Look on the wiki page for fitting tech 2 bumpers. I explain how to fit. I think cabs domnot suit the skirts or boot spoiler but as above you need to modify the lower side skirts so they fit, quite easy to do and you will see what is required when you offer the side skirts up.
