run your hand over the car and you will feel its not smooth, even when its been washed and waxed/polished etc after you clay bar you will see the difference trust me, clay should only be done about 4-6 times a year for out door living cars and those e30s that have the priviledge of a garage bout 2-4 times a year buy it and use it, its the sheeeeeeet lol, you will enjoy the results

Clay works wonders but you have to be careful, ie don't use a piece for too long or you'll be rubbing the little bits back into the paint and if you drop it, throw it away.

When it needs it. Mine is garaged and does not get used a lot. Once a year it gets the full monty of wash, clay, polish and wax. Sometimes when I think it looks dirty I give it a wash, due to the protection it has it often does not need much more and i put it back into the garage.

I do a bit here and there like the glass, wheels, trim etc just a case of topping up what needs doing.

I worked on a Elise at the weekend. It needed the full monty but only had a day to play with. It needs much more work to be properly done.

The owner was chuffed with the result of a few hours work

Chuck it through the hand wash once a month and detailed twice a year with the full deal.

Next Spring, I'll get it detailed with G3.
