Mines just back from the MOT station.

FAILED

Need a new front wishbone, standard exhaust back on and adjust the handbrake.

Not too bad.

Why have you got to refit standard exhaust Peter? Mine has sailed 6 tests now with various non standard systems fitted

MOT quote

'(rear box) Exhaust noise is clearly in excess of that emitted by a similar vehicle fitted with a standard silencer in average condition.'

me too
As my daily has been off the road for over 4 weeks now, I've been using the cabby as a daily..... and I've loved it.

If the renewal premium for the daily goes through the roof in November, I may buy myself a cheap E34 touring, run that and sell the daily.

You've got my number squire - be quick though, it's first past the post and there is another party pondering it as we speak and Hibsfan is expressing an interest also.

My highlight was the guy who drove by in the white 2 door 320, then he drove back, parked his car at the end of the row of E30s already present and stuck a for sale sign on the back shelf. Next thing, about half the attendees gathered round it and begin a detailed assessment. Talk about having a lucky day, I think Sanchez's mate is going to buy it, it was nicey.

Well at least i tried, rather it went to someone who would do something with it,not fussed if it sells, good winter project.
Anyway nice to meet you all, good friendly bunch of guys.
Good to know local people with spare parts if i do decide to do anything with the car

thanks kev

Thanks all,i dont know whether to keep it or not,im quite tempted to get it lowered over the winter and stick on 15" bbs and it would look the part then.Handy to know there are spares nearby aswell.
Seeing all the e30`s lined up and looking sorted was good to see,its got me tempted to keep it!
