Quick question. I've gotta go get a spare key cut, as I snapped my stupid monkey-part key in the boot lock :(

Is it possible to get a proper BMW key from anywhere, or at least a blank one to take to the cutters? I don't want another one that looks like a flimsy 1950's house key!

Go to your local dealer or cotswold, they can supply you with new blank keys

Showing at $33.75 each but out of stock, non-illuminated $32.25! Equates to around £20.58 plus shipping across the pond. 8O

No way! I'll give BMW a call today and see if they can order me in one of those keys! I'm fed up of having a key that looks like it should open a shed, rather than my.... er... shed.
