Unlike most of the E30 owners I would like that front wheels have more negative camber. I need few more negative degrees to fit 9J rim just under the arch. Is there any other solution besides fitting adjustable top mounts?
Thanks
More Negative Camber

Still cheaper than replacing your tyres every 3 months! Might be more cost effective in the long run to leave the camber alone and get the arches flared.jure wrote:Adjustables are too expensive for my situation and term of use. I won't adjust them more than once (most negative camber). Where to find crash correction top mounts ad new ones are like 100 GBP each?

Negative camber is mostly used by the drift boys, something i am a big fan of!!! If you are just looking for style id recommend stretched tyres to try and squeeze them rims under the arches, or roll your arches!
Adjusting your camber can lead to somewhat misleading results if you aren't careful.
Adjusting camber (the top-to-bottom angle of the tyres) affects your cars grip, whether your are driving in a straight line or cornering.
Negative camber (with tops of tyres leaning inward) reduces understeer and increases cornering grip but reduces straight line grip.
Positive camber (tops of tyres leaning outwards) reduces oversteer but can make the car unstable.
If you insist on adjusting your camber if would ONLY do it with the proper adjustable (expensive) strut tops.
The proper way to set up your camber would be to adjust both stut tops 0.5 degree of negative camber so both sides lean equally, then start tuning till you find the best results that suit your driving style. You will need a 4 wheel alignment machine (or optiflex)
Remeber, no matter how you adjust your camber, it also will dramatically change as the suspension travels up and down!!
People are always suprised just how well a properly set up drift car handles, but if not set up correct can cause all kinds of problems, not to mention accidents.
Best of luck!!!
These are cheap. PM this guy
