I just checked the part numbers on realoem and all E30 ABS parts are interchangeable.ImysE30 wrote:Do the M3's have a different ABS set-up Barry or are they all the same?

Thanks very much Barrybss325i wrote:I just checked the part numbers on realoem and all E30 ABS parts are interchangeable.ImysE30 wrote:Do the M3's have a different ABS set-up Barry or are they all the same?
Sensors, ECU and hydrolic unit are the same from a 316i to an M3.
The trigger rings on the hubs maybe different between 5 stud and 4 stud but all E30 M3's had ABS so that not a problem.

They all have the symbol, but you can't see it if it isn't lit up. The ABS light on all such equipped cars should light up when the ignition is switched on, and go out after the engine is started.ImysE30 wrote:Will have a ABS symbol in the instrument cluster .
