Ive changed all of my belts, water pump and thermostat. Im just refilling the coolant now, problem is that im thinking the coolant should come out of the bleed valve when you fill with coolant.

There is none running out of mine. Ive turned over the engine and the radiator pipes dont seem to be getting very hot, and theres no coolant coming out of the bleed valve?

Wheres the pressure gone?

cheers

Take the top heater hose off at the bulkhead, and put it back on when coolant flows from both sides.

if its an m20 fill the system up start the car and let it run with heater on the red so water flows around heater matrix, then open the bleed nipple on thermostat housing, till water start spluttering out, then close, keep the engine running till its upto temp and keep doing this till when you unscrew the bleed nipple only water comes out and no bubbly air :)
