My seats have no rear headrests, but looking at the back of the rear backrest, it looks as though you can add rear headrests. Can anyone advise me on how to do so?
Is there anything I need to secure the headrests?
Maybe some clamps or inserts or something?
If so where can I get them?

Sooooo many questions.

Thanks in advance.

Adit on here sells the fitting kits for £19, and he has a varying range of headrests as well.

PM him, and he'll sort you out what you need. :D

The above assumes you have a saloon or a cab. If you have the more superior model of E30; the touring, the rear headrest fittings are exactly the same as any E30 front seat, and can be removed from any scrapper.

Will any other headrests fit in the mechanisms, such as E34 or E36 ones?

As Brian says the superior 5 door E30, is very easy to fit rear headrests.
