that looks saveable. If you're on a student income, you don't really want to lose your no-claims and get a claim history if you can avoid it. that partly depends on the situation with the other car / driver (whiplash) etc though.
regardless, £100 worth of panels in the right colour and some hammering will get it roadworthy again. not mint but good enough or an old car.
the deciding factors will be if the chassis leg is wonky and if there's any rust that's collapsed anywhere during the impact.
this is why i NEVER go far out of my way to avoid animals. seen too many accidents due to someone doing just that.
had a large splatter of 'bunny juice' up the front/side side of my car the other day but compared to hitting someone / something else (and probably still the bunny too) it's a price worth paying. I personally value the live of my kids, me and anyone else on the road over that of a fluffy animal. Darwinian evolution will keep them clear of the roads one day
