Feck sake, you got me thinking of modifying my 318iS from seeing your old one and now I'm building a M52 and here you are talking about how your doing yours, lol.
my m52 is in an e36 Compact lol

you doing a 6sp conversion or is that some one else ??
Don't worry... one of my mates have a crazy M3 compact drift car that we built in less than 2 weeks has made be become rather fond of them even though I hated them before

Yeah, just finished the 6 speed conversion on my iS.
Was easy enough really with BMW having all these kinda swaps in mind when desiging castings or just being plain lazy and cutting costs :D
M42 rightness above 6500rpm, nobody can hear you scream

is that the blue one, there were a couple of pics in one of the BMW mags about it, i think TBMW.

as for the 6sp conversion, fail play mate. make the car any better? i dont think it was bmw cutting cost as they thought it would be funny to change diff flange sizes for some reason which made the diff swop on my compact a touch interesting. there was no need for them to down size !! :?

Steve Tigger was at pod on the saturday evening, I was most astonished as I didn't think he existed!

We tried to talk him into returning but only time will tell.

why the sudden change of heart over previously banned members? some of the official statements the last time this subject was mentioned seemed pretty definite.

Because they were sick of you having no competition Fuzz.

Now you'll be rightfully put back in your place as 3rd most abrasive zoner, which frankly is a generous ranking.

You would have placed higher but your Scottish background inherently makes you mean and moody so that natural advantage has been taken into account.

If you were the way you are and from Somerset, you may have made it to 1st place.

My guess would be that the mods want a bit more unofficial moderation done on the countless pish threads that arise by allowing the more outspoken members back to put those members in their place :D . That or they are bored of banning Ratch's various user-names. :D

What ever the reason welcome back to the old members who have done some great work on projects while they have been away.

Come on, you know what the real reason is, they realised that all this 'over moderation, banning' and 'political correctness' malarky has sent the place downhill, what better way to liven up the forum and ward off the scummer types at the same time! :D

Oh god zayyan, I hope he doesn't come back. What a waste of time, the amount of zoners he messed around through him buying parts. I think I spoke to you (Dips) and Kos about him a while back.

M3's a keeper, like the e24 is.

golf gti turbos are good fun and perfect as daily drivers mate. i really cant drive an e30 every day any more.

i'm looking ahead to and newer bmw as adaily driver. e46 maybe but idealy e60 depending on prices. just see what happens and so for now i'll just keep using the compact i have. its good fun to drive lol
