well was quoted 300 to 400 pounds to change total colour on my interior so i thought i would save cash as i have just lost my job so i attempted it my self here are some pictures comments welcome Image

interior looks good, could you not have dyed the piping too :wink:

did you use furniture clinic products to do this ? and what colour was the leather before ?

cleaned seats with nail polish remover on small sponge
then two coats of stone colour leather paint then one coat with paint in airbrush
then one coat of wait for it the missus hair spray as the varnish the shop sold me was carbage

total cost was 4 bottles of paint £28
airbruush from halfauds £19
hair spray , chinese for wife

out come new look interior :D

paint was called angelus paint the guy in the shop says its used for customising trainers
bottle of paint in 4fl ounce was £6.80 a bottle

original colour was like ivory its in bottom two pictures

ive got my fingers crossed for you that the hairspray doesn't wear off!! i'll keep an eye out for someone getting out of an E30 with a white back and ass! lol winkeye

seriously though i hope it works - and certainly can't knock the job for the money you have put in! keep us informed.

if it does wear off though now you have the expensive bit (the spray gun) you could get this to make it seal.. just a thought.

the £9.20 one would do the whole interior with at least two coats.
